  5. What do we have to do if our child will not be swimming in an upcoming swim meet?
There is a black notebook that is kept at the Westbury Park Pool. Each section is dedicated to upcoming swim meets. Select the date that your child/family will not be attending a meet. List your child's name and age on the vacation list. Identify if your entire family will not be present. This will help the coach not assign your child to swim in an event. This will also help the board ensure that your family is not assigned to help out at the meet.
  6. Are parents required to work at a swim meet?
Yes, if you have a child swimming in the meet, a family member is required to work in at least one half of the meet.
  7. Where do I sign up to work at upcoming swim meets?
There is a black notebook that is kept at the Westbury Park Pool. The notebook is available for all families to see during each practice. Ask around during the practices. Another family may be using the notebook.
If you don't sign up to work a position at the meet, the board may assign you a position.
