The goal of the swim team is to offer all young people in Ford's Colony from ages 5 - 18 years of age the opportunity to learn and improve their swimming skills, enhance community spirit, encourage sportsmanship and create a fun-filled yet competitive summer swim experience for the children.

Please print out and complete the following four items.
- 2011 Registration Form (DOC, PDF)
- Emergency Information Form
- 2011 VPSU Team Rep Roster Release/Waiver Certification - ONE FORM SUBMITTER PER SWIMMER PLEASE!
- Include T-shirt size per swimmer. Youth Small, Youth Medium, Youth Large, Men Small through XL

IMPORTANT DATES:
After-School Practice Begins Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
3:30 - 4:45pm 13 & Up (Middle school swimmer should just get to the pool as soon as they can - The coaching staff recognizes that many of you don't get off the bus until 3:30!)
4:45 - 5:30pm 7 and Under
5:30 - 6:30pm 8 - 12 years (Some 8 year olds may be moved down to the 7 & under group after their swimming skills are assessed by the coaching staff)

All practices are held at the Westbury Park pool.
General Information
Summer Practice Schedule:
Advanced (mostly 13 and up): 8:00 am to 9:30 am
Intermediate (mostly 9-12): 9:30 am to 10:30 am
Beginner (mostly 8 and under): 10:30 am to 11:15 am
Swim Practice Pool Rule Reminders:
-- The area immediately around the pool is restricted to swim team members and coaching staff during practices.
-- Parents may sit on the pool deck near the zero entry side of the pool during practices.
-- The first 10 minutes of practice are reserved for parent conversations with the coaches. The remainder of practice time is reserved for the coaches to work with the swimmers.
-- Any concerns about the coaching staff, please contact Debbie Ramer (contact info on the Contact Us page).
